Rats on Rafts werken al meer dan 10 jaar volledig analoog. Ook het nieuwe studioalbum 'Deep Below' is analoog opgenomen, gemixt en op plaat geperst. Fotograaf Jasmijn Slegh was erbij en legde dit bijzondere proces vast als een 'fly on the wall' met haar Ricoh point-and-shoot camera. Leonor Faber-Jonker schreef de teksten.

For over 10 years Rats on Rafts have embraced a strict analog workflow. The new album ‘Deep Below’ was recorded, mixed, mastered and pressed from the analog master tapes to vinyl without any digital interference. Photographer Jasmijn Slegh was present during all the different stages of this new creation, a ‘fly on the wall’ using a Ricoh point-and-shoot camera. Leonor Jonker-Faber interviewed Rats on Rafts and Jasmijn providing context to all stages of the recording proces.
